British Prince Michael of Kent takes part in the St. Petersburg tercentenary rally
British Prince Michael of Kent is coorganizing and taking part in the St. Petersburg Tercentenary Vintage Car Rally, which started on 20 May in Yekaterinburg.
According to Rosbalt Information Agency, Michael of Kent and members of the UK Bentley Club will take part in the event. The rare sport cars, built before 1930, in 15 days will travel over 2.5 thousand km through Izhevsk, Kazan, Nizhny Novgorod and Moscow arriving on 2 June in St. Petersburg. 15 Bentleys have been delivered to Yekaterinburg by special aircraft.
Michael of Kent says this vintage car rally will both mark the 300th anniversary of St. Petersburg and raise money for Russian charities. It will also help Russian regions attract foreign investments.
