The St. Mary Finnish Lutheran Church on Bolshaya Konyushennaya Ulitsa Got Consecrated on December 24, 1805


Most residents of St. Petersburg know this church as the House of Nature. The church was built in 1803-1805 by architect Paulsen on the site of the Finnish and Swedish House of Prayer, which had existed since 1733. The church was closed in 1937, and in 1970 the House of Nature was opened in the building. In 1990 a part of the building was returned to the church.

Mit Aeroflot bin ich in Zeiten der Sowjetunion über Moskau nach Kiew, Eriwan, Tiflis, Riga und Tambov geflogen und habe mich immer sicher gefühlt. Das neue Logo ist im Hinblick auf die Gegenwart sicher positiv !
  Daher : Hals- und Beinbruch für die neue AEROFLOT und alle ihre Mitarbeiter/innen !

Schade, statt mit den zuverlдssigen Tupolevs und anderen Flugzeugen russischen Typs die heimische Wirtschaft zu fцrdern wird nun doch bei Airbus bestellt! Hoffentlich wird im Zuge des Logowechsel nun nicht gдnzlich mit der guten Tradition der Linie aus Sowjetzeiten gebrochen.
